As the world's largest student-youth run organization in the world, AIESEC is the platform for students to engage with real world issues, and take a step forward in creating positive change in their world. AIESEC San Jose is connected to a network of 86,000 of the world's brightest, young change agents. One way of reaching towards our mission of "Fulfillment of Humankind potential," we administer international exchanges through internships and volunteer opportunities for students in 113 countries. These opportunities are not merely for professional development, but students gain an unique cultural experience through the interaction of local AIESEC members, citizens, and other international interns.

Wanting to get practical health care experience? How about in the communities of Cambodia?

This project strives to build health care awareness to the rural communities.  You would get an immersed experience during this project, and begin to understand the realities of rural communities.  Interns will be working alongside local medical students every week to gain medical knowledge in many topics.  Interns will get the change to put on workshops related to health care and the prevention of diseases in NGOs with Cambodian Medical students.  Another opportunity interns have will be visiting local hospitals with medical students to gain an understanding of the differences between the Medical Health Care standard between their country and others.

Have you ever thought of going to Cambodia? If yes, here is your chance to learn the community and be immersed in it.  If not, this project might change your mind.

Life Showcase is the name of the project.  It serves to tackle the issue of poverty from the grassroots level in the communities of Cambodia.  The intern will have the chance to get to know children that are less fortunate, and hold discussions with these children about their life and dreams.  If you are interested in journalism, youth empowerment, non-profit organizations, marketing, or photography, this might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  Interns will be creating videos and documenting the lives of these children.  Interns will also get the chance to learn the techniques of fundraising, write proposal letters to non-profits for support, and teach basic English to children within the organization.

On the plus side, the reception that is provided from their AIESEC chapter with the experience makes it more exciting!  If you’re thinking about it, apply to learn more.

Dig deep into Budapest.  Learn the culture, and the people. Taste the magnificent food, and experience the beautiful sights.  This project aims to create an international atmosphere so these children can learn English, and strengthen their cultural understanding.  Interns will be working with children daily, and alongside other interns from around the world.  Think about the impact you will be having on tomorrow’s society.

"Actually I can describe my trip to China with one sentence: "I haven’t

expected…” I haven’t expected that China is so similar to my country.

I consider volunteering activity a necessary experience for everyone. We all live on the same planet and we are much closer than we usually imagine. Every day of my stay in China I learnt something new. Chinese people are very kind and polite, often smiling and more open-minded than I used to think before. Chinese children are very lovely and teaching is a very interesting work, but rather difficult at the same moment. Come to China and get an once-in-a-life experience!

——Andriy from Ukraine

This is the experience Andriy got from his exchange to China! He was matched to an project named “Dare to Dream.” What did he do, you may ask? He worked with local university students to teach children in rural areas.  He created activities and workshops in order to push these children to dream big and achieve more.  Explore China, educate the young community, learn traditional Chinese arts, change, and be changed.
